Introduction
Starting with the Access Control Product Suite version 2.8.0, an EyeAllow & Access200 can be integrated with TouchNet's Higher Education dining solution. Our devices can be used to provide simple, secure, and contactless meal plan transactions to help ensure the health and safety of your campus.
Configuration
Note: In order to configure and utilize the TouchNet integration your Access200 must be able to access the URL for the TouchNet OneCard API. Also, please ensure that if any time zone changes are made, the device must be restarted for the changes to be applied.
Accessing the configuration screen:
1. Login to the device's home screen from a web browser
2. Click the Settings tab at the top of the screen
3. Click Mode from the options on the left side of the screen
4. If the device is not currently in Identity mode, click the link to 'Switch to Identify Mode'
5. Click the link to 'Change Identify Mode'
6. Check the checkbox 'Require TouchNet to confirm meal plan'
All fields in the TouchNet configuration should be completed with values from your TouchNet instance. If your TouchNet OneCard API URL is using self-signed certificates, then select "Accept self-signed certificates" in the Security dropdown box. Each device being used for TouchNet dining transactions must be individually configured.
User Sync
Users can now be synced automatically from TouchNet.
There are three different update durations (every 12, 24 hours, or even each minute):
There's an alternative option as well: Importing a file (CSV, XLS, XLSX).
Note: The imported Unique ID must match the TouchNet OneCard Standard Account Number.
Functionality
Once a device configuration is saved, identity encounters will begin to deduct meals from a person's meal plan. The meal will only be deducted after a successful biometric match. The screen will display whether the meal transaction was successful.
