Princeton Identity's access control solutions support an array of different identity verification modes. Each of the identification modes are set on a per-device basis. For example, a facility administrator can set up exterior access points for Biometric or Card identification, and interior access for biometrics only. Identity control points for rooms requiring higher levels of protection could be setup for biometrics and card. The options are as follows:
- No Biometric: Users must present either a card, QR code, or both. Options include adding a PIN as an additional modality and can be combined with the other two.
- Iris Only - Users must present their iris in order to gain access. Options include adding a card, QR code, or PIN as additional modalities for a multi-factor setup.
- Face Only - Users must present their face to gain access. Options include adding a card, QR code, or PIN as additional modalities for a multi-factor setup.
- Face or Iris - Users must present either biometric to gain access. Options include adding a card, QR code, or PIN as additional modalities for a multi-factor setup.
NOTE: Modes utilizing card verification require or Princeton Identity's optional integrated card reader or an external card reader.
Group Overrides: We now offer the ability to configure grouping during enrollment. You must create a category within the IDS first.
After configuring the category within the IDS, ensure that the name is displayed within the dropdown list:
Once all of the settings are configured, click "Save All".
