Instructions
- Open the Access200 by removing the 2 security screws from the bottom
- Power off the device
- Take the Fan Module and remove the adhesive backing from the module
- Adhere the Fan Module in the top left corner of the device as shown in (Figure 1), The arrow on the fan should be pointing down
- Take the fan module power cable and connect the red wire to “PWR OUT (+)” and the black wire to “PWR RTN(-)” on the wall carrier board reader header (Figure 2)
Important Notes:- If you are using pass through power for an external reader, please skip Step 6 and connect the wires in parallel to the external card reader power wires on the Reader header. DO Not Exceed 18V of power in passthrough mode
- Wall Carrier boards Rev. E or lower have reversed labels on the J6 jumper position.
- Move the jumper on J6 (figure 2) on the Power Jumper to the “INTERNAL” position, so the middle pin and top pin are connected by the jumper (i.e. top 2 pins)
- Power the device back on. There should be a blue light on the Fan Module indicating that it is functioning properly
- Close the Access200 and place the security screws back in.
