Enrolling a new person
To be able to enroll people to the Identity Server (IDS), you must be a user with "admin" or "enroller" permissions.
- Log in to the IDS.
- From the home page click on the "Enrollment" link.
- If prompted to select a device from the list, select the one labeled "Eyen" or "Access500" and click on the link:
- On the subsequent page, use the search bar at the top to search for the person who will be enrolled.
- Then click on their last name to be directed to their profile page.
- On the profile page, click on the "Enroll" button on the right-hand side.
- You will be directed to the "Add Biometrics" screen. Use the device preview on the left-hand side of the screen to align the person to the center of the capture volume. Their face should be centered and occupy between 1/3rd and 1/2 of the width of the preview.
- When the person is properly aligned, click on the "START ENROLLMENT" button.
- Wait for the device to complete its capture. When the capture is complete, you will see biometrics appear on the web page on the right-hand side and the bottom.
- Click on “ENROLL” in the “Enrollment Summary” section.
- On the “Enrollment Confirmation” screen, the person's captured biometrics will be displayed. Click "SAVE". The user’s chosen Portrait will display, as well as the captured biometrics which will be enrolled. Click “SAVE TO IDS”.
You will be redirected to the person’s enrollment page, which now includes all the biometrics which were enrolled.
Congratulations, you have enrolled a person into the Princeton Identity Server.
