Prerequisites
Identity Server supports integration with Pro-Watch via the Honeywell Software Development Kit (HSDK). In order to use this integration, additional licenses may be required from your vendor. If using Pro-Watch version 5.0 or later, please contact us at support@princetonidentity.com. Please consult with the Pro-Watch and HSDK User Guides before attempting to set up this integration. Once you have confirmed HSDK is properly configured and licensed, make sure that port 443 is open on your Pro-Watch/HSDK application server's firewall. This will ensure HTTPS communication for the connection. Follow the instructions below to configure the integration with IDS.
Setup
1. Login to the IDS from a web browser using a user with the admin role and click Settings.
2. On the Settings page, select Sync from the left-hand menu.
3. Click the SETUP SYNC button.
4. Select "Pro-Watch (HSDK)" from the drop-down menu and click the CONTINUE button.
5. On the Pro-Watch screen, the default settings will appear. Click Edit Settings.
6. Make the following selections:
Check for updates - Manual, or Full scan every 12 or 24 hours
API Address - By default this is of the form https://<prowatch-ip-or-hostname>/HSDKPNLApplicationModule
Enter Pro-Watch Username and Password
Optionally enable "Delete missing people"
- This will remove any people that are present in the Identity Server who are not already associated with a person in Pro-Watch
Click the APPLY button
7. The IDS will attempt to connect to Pro-Watch and begin the synchronization process. If you have chosen Manual under Check for updates, you will need to click Run Now.
8. Click HOME on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Here you will now see a notification that the IDS is due to synchronize with Pro-Watch as well as the current progress of the synchronization process.
