Prerequisites
Identity Server supports integration with C•CURE 9000 via the victor Web Service. In order to use this integration, additional license(s) may be required from your vendor (CC9WS-PRINCE). Please consult the Victor Web Service User's Guide before attempting to set up this integration. Once you have confirmed Victor Web Service is properly configured and licensed, make sure that port 443 (the default port for victor Web Service) is open on your C•CURE/victor application server's firewall. This will ensure HTTPS communication for the connection. Follow the instructions below to configure the integration with IDS.
Setup
1. Login to the IDS from a web browser and click Settings.
2. On the Settings page, select Sync from the left-hand menu.
3. Click the SETUP SYNC button.
4. Select "CCURE 9000" from the drop-down menu and click the CONTINUE button.
5. On the CCURE 9000 screen, the default settings will appear. Click Edit Settings.
6. Make the following selections:
Check for updates - Full scan every 12 or 24 hours
API Address - should be of the form https://<ccure-ip-or-hostname>/victorWebService
Enter CCURE Username and Password
Enter your Client Name (When entered in your IDS, this name is displayed in CCURE Workstation settings and can be any value of your choice)
Optionally enable deleting missing people
Optionally enable importing portrait images (recommended)
Optionally configure a user defined field to limit the synchronized people records.
Click the APPLY button
7. The IDS will attempt to connect to CCURE and begin the synchronization process. If you have chosen Manual under Check for updates, you will need to click Run Now.
8. Click HOME on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Here you will now see a notification that the IDS is due to synchronize with CCURE as well as the current progress of the synchronization process.
Adding User-Defined Fields:
In order to create a User-Defined Field, proceed to Configuration, User-Defined Fields, add the field (make the field type logical), then create a Personnel View (name it "Personnel View with the UDF name" and click the checkbox to enable it). To add a user to it check the box in the person's profile.
When C•CURE 9000 is configured with a User Defined Field, only people with the field configured appropriately will be automatically added to the Identity Server. In order to add additional people to the Identity Server, they first must have their User Defined Field modified in C•CURE.
Log in to the C•CURE 9000 user interface, and navigate to the Personnel page.
On the Personnel page, use the filter button, and type the name of the person who you will be adding to the Identity Server.
Double click on the person's name to open their personnel record:
On the Personnel record, click on the tab titled "User-defined Fields"
On this page, check the box for the appropriate user-defined field, and then click "Save and Close".
This person will now be added to the Identity Server following the next synchronization.
Administrators have the ability to force an immediate synchronization. Login to the Identity Server web page, then go to Settings->Sync and click on "Run Now".
